I had been planning for weeks to shoot the Super Moon. It was going to be 14% bigger and brighter than our other Super Moons and how Super was that? Yesterday when I got ready for my Photo Session with clients, I knew I needed to pack my tripod for later, after the session. BUT. I forgot by the time I went to load the car. Go figure lol. So. As twilight began crossing our planet I ran to my vehicle and grabbed my camera anyway and stabelized myself against a telephone pole in downtown Desloge to get this first shot. So very glad I did. :) Then we ran home for my tripod and went to the lake to see what could still be captured. The brightness was AMAZING! The Super Moon was so BRIGHT that is caused a huge reflection in my lens. Thought I'd share how beautiful it was. Toward the end of my shooting the clouds moved behind the moon at a perfect moment.
This was the only one I got in focus of the moon. Is was so gorgeous!
